Minha mãe sempre dizia: “Para morrer, basta tá vivo”. É uma afirmação óbvia, mas carrega implicações sociais. Ninguém quer morrer! E está certo; pois quando Deus criou o homem tinha a intenção de torná-lo imortal. A busca incessante da imortalidade é uma das maiores provas que temos que foi Deus que nos criou. E, por outro lado, a vontade e ação da justiça com as próprias mãos, em todas as suas formas, é uma das provas contundente que a política do matar tem raízes no grande conflito cósmico.

Vivemos em sociedade multicultural. O jeito de viver dos povos os tornam diferentes, e é sábio aceitar isso. É direito de todos cultuar o que quiser, como quiser, onde quiser. É inviolável o viver peculiar! Todos têm livre arbítrio garantido por Deus. Em toda Bíblia, livro sagrado e voz de Deus, encontramos evidências explícitas sobre o direito de ir e vir do ser humano no planeta terra. A despeito da vontade do Criador, todos são livres de viver como quiser. O dado concreto e perturbador é a questão dos limites desrespeitados por intolerantes.

Em toda história bíblica, Deus trabalha muito bem os limites. O Criador respeita os limites individuais; e nós devemos fazer o mesmo. As pessoas têm liberdade para atuar, viver. Deus sabe disso e leva isso a sério. No entanto, entre suas criaturas vem multiplicando os intolerantes às escolhas individuais e tribais. O grupo A lutam contra grupo B. E mesmo facções do mesmo grupo brigam entre si. O desrespeito ao livre arbítrio é gritante as imposições que as pessoas sofrem. Isso não é novidade do nosso século. Os relatos bíblicos mostram que isso acontece desde os primórdios. Nós cristãos identificamos Abel e Caim, fato registrado em Gênesis, como o primeiro caso de repressão ao livre arbítrio, liberdade de escolha, invasão dos limites individuais, imposição.

O presente século é diferente porque temos a mídia. As repercussões dos casos do passado compreendiam ao tamanho de seu povo. Hoje o mundo é uma aldeia. Questão de segundos; todos sabem. E em questão de segundos todos vêem o tratamento diferenciado com as vidas. Todos vêem, mas pouquíssimos enxergam como uns valem muito e outros valem tão pouco. Além de termos que sofrer com a violência da imposição; temos que ser apunhalados pelo tratamento diferenciado às vidas. Aos olhos egoístas, preconceituosos e parciais; os brancos merecem militância. Os ricos devem ser protegidos. Os ocidentais devem ser cultuados. Aos negros, pobres e sofredores restam-lhes apenas a lamentação bem tímida. Estou falando dos jornalistas franceses e dos cristãos vítimas do Boko Haram. Dia 03 de janeiro esse grupo terrorista mata 100 pessoas na Nigéria, e quanto sabem disso? Dia 07 de janeiro atiradores matam 12, em Paris, França; e o mundo chora e protesta!

A questão é muito mais profunda! Eu poderia dar um enfoque social, mas quero enfatizar o lado espiritual. Embora muitos não concordam, mas a espiritualidade perpassa por todos os âmbitos de uma pessoa, inclusive social. Há uma frase que é profética. Esses episódios mostram a cumprimento e a veracidade do conteúdo dessa frase: “Sabemos que somos de Deus, e que todo o mundo está no maligno” 1 João 5:19. Para Deus temos um valor inestimável, somos todos valiosos; mas para o mundo, não é assim. O mundo é um reflexo do seu príncipe!

O mundo reagiu espetacularmente contra os terroristas da revista Charlie Hebdo; mas cruzou os braços frente ao Boko Haram. Os presidentes do mundo mandaram condolências à França; mas nada dizem a Nigéria. Um dado interessante e decepcionante é que a revista é ateia. A orientação editorial da revista é ateia e sobrevive do ataque ao sagrado das religiões monoteístas: cristianismo, judaísmo e islamismo. O mundo chora a morte de uma dezena de ateus e não dão moral aos massacres de centenas de cristãos. Será que é só por serem negros, pobres, sofredores que eles não tiveram manifestações acaloradas nas mídias?

O que eu consigo ler é que o mundo jaz na mão do inimigo. Há uma guerra entre o bem e o mal. Há dois generais com seus respectivos exércitos. De um lado a Bíblia apresenta Jesus, e do outro se apresenta; o que o apóstolo João chama de antiga serpente, grande dragão, Diabo e Satanás. Esse ser promove todas essas injustiças e usa pessoas que se deixaram ser enganadas por ele. E depois de tudo feito, joga na conta de Deus.

O apóstolo João diz que Satanás veio para “roubar, matar e destruir” (S. João 10:10). Ele quer destruir a religião e principalmente a cristã. Ele promove essas barbáries para os homens questionarem Deus, acusarem Deus. As pessoas não querem parar e entender o grande conflito, mas estão prontas a questionarem Deus. Bilhões estão caindo no jogo do maligno. Você, neste momento, está sendo convidado a  entender o grande conflito. Se não quer e nem tem interesse; digo que você também não tem o direito de questionar Deus (acusar Deus). É deselegante questionar alguém sobre um assunto que não se conhece.

Sou contra todo tipo de violência. Sou contra o que aconteceu com a revista Charlie Hebdo. Sou contra o que Boko Haram faz. O ateu tem o direito de ser e defender seu ponto de vista. O Boko Haram tem direito de conduzir a vida deles como quiser. Mas ambos deveriam saber e praticar a inviolabilidade do livre arbítrio do outro. Forçar, oprimir, ridicularizar, perseguir, matar são coisas do Diabo. Conjugar esses verbos na prática é sair dos próprios limites da liberdade de expressão e invadir os das outras pessoas. Como diz o Dr Augusto Cury, temos apenas que “expor nossas idéias e não impor”. Sábias palavras!

My mother always said, "To die, just be alive". It is an obvious statement, but it carries social implications. No one wants to die! And it’s right; for when God created man he intended to make him immortal. The relentless pursuit of immortality is one of the greatest evidence we have that it was God who created us. On the other hand, the will and legal action into their owns hands, in all its forms, is one of overwhelming evidence that killing policy is rooted in the great cosmic conflict.

We live in a multicultural society. The way of life of people makes them different, and it is wise to accept it. It is all right to worship whatever you want, how you want, wherever you want. It is inviolable the peculiar way of living! Everyone has free will granted by God. Throughout the Bible, the holy book and the voice of God, we find explicit evidence on the right of movement of human beings on planet earth. Despite the Creator's will, everyone is free to live as one wishes. The concrete and disturbing factor is the question of the limits disrespected by intolerants.

Throughout biblical history, God works limits very well. The Creator respects the individual limits; and we should do the same. People are free to act, to live. God knows this and takes it seriously. However, among his creatures comes multiplying the intolerant individual and tribal choices. Group A is fighting group B. And even factions of the same group fight among themselves. Failure to free will is striking. This is nothing new in our century. The biblical accounts show that this happens since the beginning. We, Christians, identified Abel and Cain, a fact recorded in Genesis, as the first case of repression of free will, freedom of choice, invasion of individual limits, enforcement.

This century is different because we have the media. The repercussions of past cases understand the size of his people. Today the world is a village. Matter of seconds; everyone knows. And in a matter of seconds all see the difference in treatment with the lives. They see, but very few perceive it as some people is worth much and other worth so little. In addition to having to suffer the violence of the levy; we have to be stabbed by the differential treatment to lives. The selfish, prejudiced and partial Developed World’s eyes; whites deserve militancy. The rich must be protected. They should be worshiped. Blacks, poor and suffering left them just shy and lamentation. I'm talking about the French journalists and Christian victims of Boko Haram. Day 3 January 2015, this terrorist group kills 100 people in Nigeria, and how many of you know that? January 07, same year, gunmen kill 12 in Paris, France; and the world cries and protests!

The issue is much deeper! I could give a social focus, but I want to emphasize the spiritual side. Although many people disagrees, but spirituality permeates all areas of a person, including social. There is a phrase that is prophetic. These episodes show the compliance and the accuracy of the content of this phrase: "We know that we are of God, and the whole world is in evil" 1 John 5:19.

The world reacted spectacularly against terrorists of Charlie Hebdo magazine; but crossed his arms against Boko Haram. The presidents of the world sent condolences to France; but say nothing to Nigeria. An interesting and disappointing fact is that the magazine is atheistic. The magazine's editorial orientation is atheistic and survives by the attack on the sacred monotheistic religions: Christianity, Judaism and Islam. The world mourns the death of a dozen atheists and do not give moral to the massacres of hundreds of Christians. Is it only because they were black, poor, sufferers did not have heated demonstrations in the media?

What I can perceive, it is that the world is lying in the enemy's hand. There is a war between good and evil. There are two generals with their armies. On the one hand the Bible presents Jesus, and the other side presents; what the Apostle John calls the old serpent, the great dragon, the Devil and Satan. That being is promoting all these injustices and uses people themselves to be deceived by it. And after all done, He put on God’s responsibilities.

The apostle John says that Satan came to "steal, kill and destroy" (John 10:10). He wants to destroy religion and mainly Christian. It promotes these barbarities for men questioning God, accusing God. People do not want to stop and understand the great controversy, but are ready to question God. You, at this time, are being asked to understand the great controversy. If you do not want and do not have an interest; I say you also do not have the right to question God (accuse God). It is awkward to question someone about a subject that is not known.

I am against all forms of violence. I am against what happened to the magazine Charlie Hebdo. I am against what Boko Haram does. The atheist has the right to be and defend your point of view. Boko Haram has the right to lead their lives as you want. But both should know and practice the inviolability of free will of the other. Force, oppression, ridicule, persecute, kill are things of the devil. Combining these verbs in practice is out of the very limits of freedom of expression and invades the limits of other people. As Dr. Augusto Cury says, we just have to "expose our ideas and not impose". Wise words!

Agora fica fácil entender o seguinte verso da Bíblia “e o pó volte à terra, como o era, e o espírito volte a Deus, que o deu” Eclesiastes 12:7. Fica também fácil compreender o que Salomão disse sobre os animais e o homem. 

A alma só existe na intersecção do corpo e do espírito como apresentado no gráfico. Nesse contexto o Rei Salomão não estava ficando doido ao dizer que os animais têm alma como nós humano; “os filhos dos homens... são em si mesmo como os animais... como morre um, assim morre o outro, todos têm o mesmo fôlego de vida, e nenhuma vantagem tem o homem sobre os animais” Eclesiastes 3:18.

Essa primeira regra foi de suma importância para Deus organizar o resgate do homem da queda sofrida lá no Éden; pois a Morte reina graças ao pecado. Não haver parte ativa e parte inativa ao morto é situação indispensável ao verdadeiro descanso. Há dezenas de versos bíblicos confirmando que o morto não tem pensamento, emoção, trabalho, comunicação com ninguém, consciência; o mais conhecido é Eclesiastes 9:5 e 6 “porque os vivos sabem que hão de morrer, mas os mortos não sabem coisa nenhuma, nem tampouco terão eles recompensa, porque a sua memória jaz no esquecimento. Amor, ódio e inveja para eles já pereceram ... não tem parte em coisa alguma do que se faz debaixo do sol.” Qualquer participação ou interação entre morto e vivo será contrafação. O Arqui-inimigo pode e faz coisas parecidas a isso por meio da contrafação. Ele tem poder para tal obra e para muito mais, pois ele consegue até se transformar em anjo de luz para enganar se possível os próprios filhos de Deus.

A segunda regra de ouro imposta por Deus ao reino da Morte – esta, introduzida por Lúcifer – é não haver noção de tempo ao morto. A explicação dessa regra já nos permite apresentar a terceira: A morte é um sono. Embora seja difícil falar, mas nossas experiências do dormir diariamente nos esclarecem muito sobre a noção do tempo. E nas entrelinhas bíblicas podemos ver que o tempo cronológico é coisa de vivos e não de mortos.

Você já teve, em algum momento de sua vida, um sono tão profundo que deitou, dormiu, acordou e ficou frustrado porque a impressão era que tinha acabado de ir para cama? Você teve noção de tempo? O sono com noção de tempo é aquele que a pessoa sonha o tempo todo. Sonhar durante o sono é tão ruim que não descansamos. Um sono restaurador e sem sonhos são uma pequena amostra de como é a morte. Então não precisamos temê-la. Esse aspecto da morte não deve meter medo em ninguém. Não vai doer e a pessoa não vai ficar sofrendo. A ideia da Bíblia é de descanso total.

Jesus mesmo comparou a morte ao sono; “Nosso amigo Lázaro adormeceu, mas vou para despertá-lo. Disseram-lhe, pois, os discípulos: Senhor, se dorme, estará salvo. Jesus, porém, falara com respeito à morte de Lázaro; mas eles supunham que tivesse falado do repouso do sono. Então, Jesus lhes disse claramente: Lázaro morreu” João 11:11-14.

 Jesus confrontou a morte. Ela não teve dó nem piedade do mestre. A morte arrancou lágrimas até do Senhor Jesus Cristo “Jesus chorou” João 11:37. Ela é uma inimiga cruel. Ela nos faz chorar amargamente ao levar nossos entes queridos. Ela é a responsável do vazio que ronda os corações de milhões de pessoas que amavam alguém. Ela é aliada do grande Acusador de Deus. Ela é o meio que o Arqui-inimigo do Senhor aterroriza a terra e seus moradores. Tanto animais quanto natureza e homem sofrem as mazelas trazidas por ela.

A boa notícia é que Deus tem uma solução para tudo isso. A Bíblia, Palavra de Deus, apresenta promessas maravilhosas. Além desse livro narrar a história da morte; ele também apresenta a solução para o tal problema. A Bíblia diz que “o salário do pecado é a morte, mas o dom gratuito de Deus é a vida eterna em Cristo Jesus, nosso Senhor” Romanos 6:23. E o meio que Deus encontrou para levar a vida eterna para os homens é a RESSURREIÇÃO. Esse ato só faz sentido quando entendemos a morte dentro dos três princípios estabelecidos por Deus. Se a morte não for um sono; a ressurreição deixa de ter sua função. A vida eterna é a bendita esperança! A ressurreição é a solução de Deus para o estrago da invenção mortal do Diabo.

O apóstolo Paulo em I Coríntios 15 fala que as pessoas sem a esperança da ressurreição em Jesus são infelizes. Leia todo esse capítulo e deleite nessa promessa maravilhosa. Ele ainda diz em outro livro que “os mortos em Cristo ressuscitarão primeiro” 1 Tessalonicenses 4:16. Todos, crentes e incrédulos, perdidos e salvos; passarão pelo processo da ressurreição. Ou na primeira, ou na segunda; todos passarão pela experiência da ressurreição a fim de participar do juízo de Deus.

O Dr Carlos A. Steger, professor em seminário teológico disse que “a ressurreição, em si mesmo, não é nem uma recompensa nem um castigo. É a precondição para receber a vida eterna ou a condenação eterna”. Essa afirmação ajuda a entender como se dará o Juízo Final de Deus. Todos ouvirão sua sentença e para isso devem voltar à vida. Nesse momento as duas partes voltam a se encontrar. Corpo e Espírito (fôlego) voltam a se encontrar e forma a Alma vivente de novo para acompanhar o desfeche de tudo que existe debaixo desse céu. É por isso que faz sentido a regra número dois e três. Todos voltarão e terão a sensação como se estivesse acabado de enfrentar o momento da morte. Para uns a morte foi agonizante. Para outros, essa experiência foi boa porque foram descansar no Senhor e na sua esperança.

É por isso que a Bíblia é clara em dizer que hoje temos a chance de decisão. Não há segunda chance. Vida só é uma. A oportunidade de aceitar a Jesus é hoje e só enquanto há vida. Por isso que Jesus lança o convite: filho meu dá-me o teu coração. A Bíblia é clara em dizer que quem aceita Jesus como salvador não morrerá uma segundo vez. Todos podem morrer uma vez, mas duas vezes só morrerá quem não aceita a Jesus como salvador e senhor. Esse é o aspecto da Morte que todos deveriam temer. As pessoas deveriam pensar bem sobre as escolhas que fazem hoje. Não basta ser apenas bom cidadão (não roubo, não mato, não falo mal de ninguém e blablabla). Muitos que roubam, matam, falam mal dos outros estão aceitando o convite da salvação e mudando de vida. E temos que decidir enquanto estamos vivos. O único medo que deveria rondar sua mente é de não estar grudado nas promessas de Jesus. Só o sangue de Jesus tem o poder de fazer você descansar na segurança. É uma decisão pessoal. Os últimos minutos de vida acontecem muitos milagres. Ninguém sabe do teor da conversa entre Jesus e a pessoa que está morrendo. Só os dois sabem. Mas se temos a oportunidade hoje; não devemos deixar para decidir tudo nesses minutinhos finais. A decisão de ser ou não ser de Cristo como servo obediente e amante é o que deveria amedrontar as pessoas. A Morte não deveria aterrorizar ninguém porque a solução para ela é: a Ressurreição no dia da volta de Jesus.

A Morte está com os dias contados. Jesus já venceu lá na cruz uma vez por todas para você viver eternamente. A Morte é tão cruel e maligna que será a última a ser vencida: “O último inimigo a ser destruído é a Morte.” 1º Coríntios 15:26

Quero concluir com uma citação do livro mais enigmático da Bíblia – o Apocalipse. Esse livro está repleto de promessas fantásticas e todas reservadas para os que aceitarem Jesus como salvador e senhor. Esse livro trata do fim de todo mal e injustiça. Esse livro trata de um Novo Céu e uma Nova Terra. Se você não acredita; é um direito seu; se você acredita é uma bem-aventurança sua e minha; pois eu acredito piamente. E todas as promessas são apenas para os que acreditam. Esse mundo não apresenta nenhuma esperança; mas a Bíblia está repleta de promessas que me enche de esperança. E uma das minhas grandes esperanças é a concretização da promessa que diz “eles serão povos de Deus, e Deus mesmo estará com eles. E lhes enxugará dos olhos toda lágrima, e a morte já não existirá, já não haverá luto, nem pranto, nem dor, porque as primeiras coisas passaram... eis que faço novas todas as coisas... o vencedor herdará estas coisas, e eu lhe serei Deus, e ele me será filho.” Apocalipse 21:5 – 7.

Now; these discussions get easy to understand the Bible verse like this: “and the dust returns to the earth as it was, and the spirit returns to God who gave it” Ecclesiastes 12:7. It gets easy also to understand what Salomon has said about men and animals. The soul exists only into the intersection BODY-SPIRIT like showed on graphic above. In this context the Salomon King was not getting mad when said that the animals have soul like us: “said in my heart with regard to the children of man that God is testing them that they may see that they themselves are but beasts for what happens to the children of man and what happens to the beasts is the same; as one dies so dies the other. They all have the same breath, and man has no advantage over the beasts” Ecclesiastes 3:18.

 

This first rule was very important to God organizes the human rescuing from fallen Eden. The Death reigns because of sin. Without active part and inactive one to the dead is an indispensable to true resting. There are dozens of biblical verses that affirm that the dead does not have thoughts, emotions, works, communication with anybody, conscience; but the best known verse is Ecclesiastes 9:5 and 6 “For the living know that they will die, but the dead know nothing, and they have no more reward, for the memory of them is forgotten. Their love and their hate and their envy have already perished, and for ever they have no more share in all that is done under the sun”. Any participation or interaction between dead and living man will be forgery. The archenemy can do things like these by your dark powers.   He has power to do it and others things; because he can even transform himself like light angel to deceive even the God’s sons.

The second gold rule imposed by God to the Death’s reign – introduced by Lucifer – is NO HAVING NOTION OF TIME TO THE DEATH. The explanation of this rule permit us introduce the third rule: THE DEATH IS A SLEEP. Even being difficult to say, but our experience can show us many things about the time notion. And into the biblical text we can see the chronological time is business for live people and not to dead ones.

Have you already had, in moment of your life, a deep sleep that you laid down, slept, woke up and you got frustrated because the impression was that you had just had gone to the bed? Have you had the notion of the time? The sleeping with notion of time is like that one dreams all the time. To dream during the sleeping is too bad because we don’t relax. A restoring sleep and without dreams is a little showing of what is the death. Then, we don’t need fear it. This aspect of the Dead could not fear anybody. It will not cause pain and the people will not suffer any longer. The biblical idea is of total cessation of activities of the person.

Jesus himself has compared the Dead with the sleeping; “These things said he: and after that he says unto them, Our friend Lazarus sleeps; but I go, that I may awake him out of sleep. Then said his disciples, Lord, if he sleeps, he shall do well. Howbeit Jesus spake of his death: but they thought that he had spoken of taking of rest in sleep” John 11:11-14.

Jesus has confronted the Dead. It has had nor pity neither piety  of Jesus. The Dead has plucked up the tears until the Lord Jesus Christ “Jesus cried out” John 11:37. It is an enemy; the cruel one. It makes us cry out in depth when it takes away our beloved. It is the responsible of the emptiness that invades the millions of people hearts whose beloved has gone away. The Dead is in alliance with the God’s Accuser. It is the tool that the God’s Enemy threats the earth and its inhabitants. Animals, nature and men suffer the pains brought by it.

The good news is that God has a solution to all that. The Bible, God’s Word, shows us wonderful promises. Beyond this narrative of book about death; it shows us the solution to the problem too. The Bible says that “For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord” Romans 6:23. And the way that God met to bring the eternal life to the men was the RESURRECTION. This act makes sense only when we understand the Death through these three bases established by God. If the Death is not a sleep; the resurrection will not have any purpose.  The eternal life is a holy hope, and the resurrection is God’s solution to the damage of the Satanic mortal invention.

The Apostle Paul in I Corinthians 15 speaks that the people without hope of resurrection in Jesus are unhappy. Read all this chapter and delight in this promise; the wonderful promise. He says yet in other book that “For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first” I Thessalonians 4:16. All; believers and unbelievers, losers and winners; all people will pass by the resurrection process. Being first, or second one; all we will be resurrected to face the Judgment Day.

Dr. Carlos A. Steger, professor in theological seminary said that “the resurrection, by itself, is not nor a reward neither a punishment. It is a prespecification to receive the eternal life or an eternal condemnation”. This affirmative can help us to understand how it will be; how the God Final Judgment will be. All will hear your own sentence and to that, all have to come back to life again. In this moment the two parts return to the person again. Body and Spirit (breathing) come back to meet and to form the living soul again. This way the same person will see the scenes of all things on the Earth. It is this way that the rule number two and three make sense. All we will come back and will have the sensation as being had just faced the death. For someone, the death was agonizing. For others, the death experience was too good because it was a resting indeed in the Lord and in His hope.

For that reason the Bible is so clear when it says that today we have the chance to decide. There is no second chance. Life is only one. The opportunity to accept Jesus is right now and it is only while the life is in existence. For that reason Jesus gives us the invitation: ‘my son, gimme your heart’. The Bible is clear when says that who accepts Jesus as Savior, this person will not die for second time. All we can die one time, but two times only those who accept not Jesus as Savior and Lord. This is the aspect of the Death that all we could fear. The people could think indeed about the choice they are making today. It is not necessary only to be good citizen (I do not rob, I do not kill, I do not offend my colleague and blablabla). The majority of people that rob, kill, offend are accepting the invitation of salvation in Jesus and they are changing their lives. We have to decide while we live. The unique fear we should have passing by our mind is the fear of get distant of Jesus’ promises. Only Jesus blood has the power to make you rest in peace indeed. It is a personal decision.

The last minutes of the life happen many miracles. Nobody knows about the contents of the dialog between Jesus and the person that is dying. Only the both know. But if we have the opportunity today; we should not let to decide in these last minutes of life. The possibility of to be separated from Jesus is what could fear us. The Death could not terrorize anybody because Jesus has the solution for all these things – the Resurrection in the last day.

The Death is with the day’s countdown. Jesus has already won in the cross for all times and we have the opportunity to life forever and ever, and ever. The Death is so cruel and this enemy that will be defeated in the last moment. “The last enemy that shall be destroyed is death” I Corinthians 15:26.

I want to conclude with a citation of the book more enigmatic of the Bible – the Revelation. This book is full of amazing promises and all them reserved to the winner in Christ – who those have accepted Jesus as Savior and Lord. This book treats about end of the world of injustice and corruption. This book speaks about New Heaven and New Earth. If you do not believe; it is your decision; if you believe is your bliss and mine too; because I believe vehemently. And all the promises are only to those who believe in Him. This world does not show us any hope. My biggest hope is the dream come true that is registered in Revelation 21: 5-7: “And he that sat upon the throne said, Behold, I make all things new. And he said unto me, Write: for these words are true and faithful. And he said unto me, It is done. I am Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. I will give unto him that is athirst of the fountain of the water of life freely”

A TRISTE HISTÓRIA DA MORTE

A morte é cruel e democrática ao mesmo tempo. Ninguém a quer, mas o bonito e o feio passam por ela. O pobre e o rico, mesmo tendo lutas diferentes; também passam pelo algoz. O crente e o ateu têm que enfrentá-la. Para a morte não tem desculpas, não há argumentos, não há conversa; ela vem e faz o estrago nos corações de quem fica. Ela é cruel porque não tem um pingo de “sentimento, respeito, ou qualquer outra coisa” por ninguém. Nem Jesus teve como escapar dela. O próprio Deus passou pelo que a humanidade passa a mais de seis mil anos – a experiência da morte.

Quando foi que a Morte ganhou vida? Deixe-me esclarecer esta antítese. Quando foi que a Morte começou sua história? Tecnicamente foi quando “houve peleja no céu. Miguel e os seus anjos pelejaram contra o dragão. Também pelejaram o dragão e seus anjos” Apocalipse 12:7. Mas a Morte começou de fato quando Eva desobedeceu a Deus e Adão acompanhou, por opção, a desobediência de sua esposa. Quando o casal viu a folha murchar; o primeiro cordeirinho ser morto para prover-lhes roupas físicas e espirituais; então a Morte começou de fato. Pois, “assim como por um só homem entrou o pecado no mundo, e pelo pecado, a morte, assim também a morte passou a todos os homens, porque todos pecaram” Romanos 5:12.

Um dado interessantíssimo foi que Deus, na sua imensa sabedoria, impôs regras lógicas e claras ao reino da Morte. O Acusador trouxe o reino da Morte à Terra. No entanto ele teve que aceitar essas três condições do Criador. Se Deus é o Criador; Ele pode impor o que quiser, quando quiser, como quiser. Restam ao Aqui-inimigo as propagandas falsas. Nisso ele é craque! Nisso ele tem experiência!

As três regras apresentadas no livro da vida – a Bíblia – são perenes, lógicas, sábias e justas. Qualquer ideia estranha a essas três regras impostas à Morte, fará parte das propagandas falsas do Arqui-inimigo de Deus. Os seis mil anos de propagandas falsas resultaram em muitas versões sobre o que é a Morte e o que acontece às pessoas que morrem. Uns pensam que morrer é passar para outra dimensão cósmica. Outros pensam que os mortos continuam tendo participação entre os vivos. Há aqueles que pensam e ensinam (e baseados na Bíblia) que uns vão para o Céu e outros vão para o Inferno. O que a Bíblia ensina de fato sobre o reino da Morte entre os humanos? Antes vale ressaltar que a Bíblia não se contradiz; pois se assim for, deixa de ser Palavra de Deus. Se encontrarmos uma contradição, na verdade estaremos tentando forçar o texto para dizer alguma coisa que queremos ouvir.

O berço poderoso da propaganda que pôs em cheque o ensino cristalino bíblico; foi o antigo Egito. Os conceitos dualísticos pagãos egípcios foram exportados para todo o mundo. O filósofo grego Platão foi o grande difusor das ideias pagãs sobre a morte. A ideia grega foi tão forte que penetrou até entre os rabinos judaicos. A ideia equivocada da morte trouxe confusão quanto à palavra inferno. A concepção popular de inferno é grega também, e não bíblica. Embora não seja nosso foco falar sobre o inferno; vale um adendo quanto à ideia bíblica sobre o inferno. O que posso adiantar é que inferno se refere à sepultura apenas. Os outros sentidos para inferno são pagãos. O próprio Jesus confrontou o ensino cristalino da Bíblia com as ideias pagãs sobre a morte e o inferno. A parábola de Lázaro fala sobre isso. O cristianismo desde muito cedo sofreu com essas ideias errôneas e atribuídas como sendo da Bíblia. O apóstolo Paulo foi o grande escritor que combateu isso. Seus primeiros livros já tocavam no assunto morte; basta examinar I e II Tessalonicenses. No entanto, I Coríntios 15 é categórico quanto a esse tema.

A primeira condição sino qua non imposta por Deus ao reino da Morte foi; não haver parte ativa e parte inativa ao morto. Há muitas idéias e interpretações errôneas sobre pontos que envolvem isso. Corpo, Alma e Espírito são partes do homem muito incompreendidas. O que é cada parte dessas? Na verdade a pergunta correta não é o que seja; pois cada corrente filosófica ou espiritualista pode definir de forma diferente. O correto é perguntar o que a Bíblia diz sobre cada parte constitutiva do homem? Se a Bíblia é a palavra de Deus; ou melhor, se você a considera como tal; ela deve ter a visão correta.

Essa regra número um quer dizer que o homem quando morre; tudo que o compõem cessa a atividade. Tudo fica inerte! Essa regra elimina a ideia que a alma permanece enquanto o corpo deixa de existir. Corpo, alma e espírito são diferentes pontos de vista da pessoa humana como um todo. O que é cada uma dessa parte biblicamente falando? Vejamos o que a Palavra de Deus nos diz.

Alma é o que para você? As pessoas podem ter suas mil e uma definições; mas a opinião aqui não deve ser pessoal; deve ser bíblica. E se você estudá-la descobrirá que há três conotações para a palavra alma: vida (Atos 20:10, Lucas 12:20); coração (Gêneses 34:3, Marcos 14:34) e pessoa. Nas línguas originais, hebraico e grego, as duas palavras são as mesmas para as três idéias (nephesh/hebraico e psiché/grego). Destaco esta última conotação porque facilitará o tema abordado aqui. Todas as vezes que a Bíblia apresentar alma como pessoa, ela estará se referindo a alguém viva e não morta; pois, “a alma que pecar, essa morrerá” Ezequiel 18:20. Alma não é algo fantasmagórico como aparece nos desenhos animados ou filmes. Isso é ideia pagã vinda da propaganda falsa do Acusador de Deus.

Definir corpo é muito fácil. Corpo é a matéria que seres vivos são formados. Nesse sentido o homem e os animais são iguais. Os ossos, a carne, o cabelo, o nariz; tudo isso são parte do corpo. Não há controvérsia quanto a isso. Todos concordam que corpo é a parte visível. A Bíblia apresenta o corpo desse jeito mesmo.

E Espírito? Aqui mora a confusão na cabeça das pessoas, também. Para muitos; espírito é a mesma coisa que alma. Como você define Espírito? Como você aprendeu a definir essa parte constitutiva do homem? E você já leu na Bíblia a definição de Espírito? Como Deus define Espírito? É necessário mais uma vez recorrermos aos vocábulos originais para dissiparmos todas as incongruências. Em hebraico o termo para espírito é, ou melhor, são ruach e neshemah; e em grego é pneuma. Ambas as línguas querem dizer a mesma coisa: vento, ar, respiração. Além dessa intencionalidade vocabular; o texto bíblico estende seu sentido conotativo para oito outros significados: faculdade morais, conhecimento, ânimo, vida, pessoa do Espírito Santo, anjo, entidade maligna, e fôlego de vida. O sentido primário, ou sentido denotativo, para Espírito é o fôlego de vida. O verso bíblico espetacular para se explicar o sentido denotativo da palavra espírito está em Gêneses 2:7 que diz “formou Deus ao homem do pó da terra e lhe soprou nas narinas o FÔLEGO de vida, e o homem passou a SER alma vivente”. Pode-se concluir seguramente que o homem não tem uma alma; ele É uma alma.

The death is cruel and democratic at same time. Nobody wants her, but the beautiful person and the ugly one face her.  The poor and the rich, even facing different fights; they confront too this fatal giant.  The believer and the atheist have to face her. To the Death, there’s no excuse, no fair reasons, no talks; it comes and does the damage into the hearts the beloved of the dead.  It is so cruel because it doesn’t have any respect, sentiment or things like it. Nor Jesus has had chance to escape from it. Even God has passed through the Death that the humans face since six thousand years – the experience of Death.

When does the Death get live? Let me explain this antithesis. When does the Death begin its history? Technically, it was when “And there was war in heaven: Michael and his angels fought against the dragon; and the dragon fought and his angels,” Revelation 12:7. But the Death begun indeed when Eve disobeyed God and Adam followed, by choice, your spouse’s disobedience.  When the couple has seen a leaf to dry up; the first lamb to die blamelessly for provide them physical and spiritual dresses; then the Death began to reign actually.  Whereas, “Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned” Roman 5:12.

An interesting fact was that God; in His huge wise, has imposed rules, logic and clear ones, to the Death’s reign. The Accuser has brought to Death’s reign to the Earth by usurpation. Then he, the Accuser, has had to accept the three Creator’s Rules. If God is the Creator; He can impose what He wants, when He wants, how He wants. The Enemy has only to obey the rules and to make the false propagandas. In these he is extremely clever being! In these he has large experience!

The three rules showed in the Life’s Book – the Bible – are everlastings; logic, wise and just. Any strange idea to these three rules imposed to the Death, will take part to the Satan’s false propagandas.  In the last six thousand years of false propaganda has been resulted in many versions about what is death and what happens to people who die. Someone, when die, goes to other cosmic dimension. Other people, when die, continues to participate in this world. There are people who think into the death state (taking explanation in the Bible) go to Heaven and others go to Hell. What does the Bible say indeed about the Death’s reign among human being? It is good to explain that the Bible does not contradict itself; because if it does so, the God word would not be God’s Word. If we find any contradiction, in fact, it is because we will be forcing the text to say something we want to hear.

The ancient Egypt was the crib of the powerful propaganda that induces to confuse the God’s clear word. The pagan dualistic concept was exported by Egypt’s philosophy to the whole world. The Greek Philosopher Pluto was the bigger pagan ideas diffuser about death. The Greek idea was so strong that entered until the rabbinic world. The mistaken idea of death has brought confusion about the word hell. The popular conception of hell is Greek too. Even being not our focus to speak about hell; it is worth to show the biblical idea of hell. What I can advance is that hell refers to tomb only. Others senses to hell are pagans. The own Jesus has confronted the Bible teaching with pagan one about death and the hell idea. The Lazarus parable is about it. The Christianity since the beginning suffers with these erroneous ideas that people assign to the Bible. The apostle Paul was the great writer that fought it. Your first books have already mentioned to death topic; it is enough only examine I and II Thessalonians.  Nevertheless, I Corinthians 15 is categorical about this theme.

The first condition sino qua non imposed by God to Death’s reign was; NOT TO HAVE ACTIVE PART AND INACTIVE ONE TO THE DEAD. There are much ideas and erroneous interpretations about points which involve that.  Body, Soul and Spirit are parts of man that are so misunderstood. What is each part of that? Actually, the correct question is what could be; because each philosophical stream or spiritualistic can define differently the terms. The correct is to ask what the Bible says about each man constitutive being. If the Bible is the God’s Word; or I mean, if you consider it as God’s Word; it has to have the correct vision and position.

This rule number one wants to say that the man when die; all component parts stop the existence. All gets inactive. This rule eliminates the idea that the soul remains while the body stop the existence. Body, Soul and Spirit are different point of view of human being. What means each part biblically speaking? Let see what the God’s Word says us.

What is Soul to you? People can have your thousand personal definitions; but the opinion here dare not be personal; ought to be biblical. If you study the Bible; you will discover that there are three connotations to the word soul: LIFE (Acts 20:10, Luke 12:20); HEART (Genesis 34:3, Mark 14:34) and PERSON. In the originals languages, Hebrew and Greek, the two words are the same to the three ideas (nephesh/Hebrew and psyche/Greek). I emphasize this last connotation because it will ease the theme showed here. Always that the Bible shows soul as person, it will be referring to someone living and not dead; then “the soul that sins, it shall die” Ezekiel 18:20. Soul is not something phantasmagorical like TV and cartoons show. Like so, the idea is pagan and comes from Accuser false propagandas.

Define body is so easy! Body is the matter that living being is formed. In this sense the man and the animal are equal. The bones, the flesh, the hair, the nose; all these are parts of the body. There is no controversy in this sense. All scholars agree that body is the visible part. The Bible shows the body in this sense too.

And the Spirit? Here is the confusion into people heads. To many persons; spirit is the same thing of soul. How do you define spirit? How did you learn to define this human part constitutive? And have you ever had read into the Bible like it define spirit? How does God define spirit? It is necessary to us take a look to the original vocabulary other time. In Hebrew the term to spirit is RUACH and NESHEMAH; and in Greek is PNEUMA. Both languages want to say the same thing: WIND, AIR, and BREATHING.  Furthermore this meaning intentionality; the biblical text extends its connotative sense to eight others significant: moral faculty, knowledge, vitality, life, Holy Spirit person, angel, devil entity and breath of life. The primary sense, or denotative sense, to spirit is breath of life. The biblical verse spectacular to explain the denotative sense to the word spirit; it is in Genesis 2:7: “Then the Lord God formed the man of dust from the ground and breathed into his nostrils the breath of life, and the man became a living creature”. One can conclude surely that the man does not have a soul; he IS a soul.
